ウクライナ西部 Chernivtsi Oblast チェルニウツィー州 Novoselytskyi (Novoselitse, Novoselytsia Kelmetskoho) ノヴォセリトシキィ 地区 [Raion, district]の村で、trichinellosis 旋毛虫症 (旋毛虫感染症, トリヒナ症, trichinosis) 発生。患者 3人(病状は良好)。

ロシア Voronezh ヴォロネジ州の 1家族 8人が旋毛虫感染症(トリヒナ症)にかかった。当地域では珍しく、これまで報告はない。家族の長は アナグマ badgerの猟師で、脂肪には癒しの力があると言伝えがあり、肉は塩漬け、薫製となる。脂肪内に旋毛虫はいない。薫製の殺菌効果は不十分。

農場主が豚 1頭を個人消費のため食肉処理し、11人でブタ肉を分けた (or 一緒に食べた)。このうち、トリヒナ症で 4人入院。

4 cases of trichinellosis from swine have been registered in Jitomirskaya region. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the infection came from a pig raised in the village of Korostishko, and the farmer had slaughtered the pig for private consumption. 11 people shared meat from the infected pig, and 4 were hospitalized with trichinellosis.

チリ共和国 ロス・リオス州 Ranco 県(Province) La Union 市(Commune) および 州都 Valdivia バルディビア県 バルディビア市 (コミューン)で trichinellosis 旋毛虫感染症の発生。
La Union 市では 11人感染し入院。第 1例目は La Union病院に入院中の 6歳未満の小児。
一方、バルディビア市では、[旋毛虫]感染した肉 [動物種の記載なし] を食べた 11人中 6人が発症[?]した。

旋毛虫感染症 trichinellosis 5名。2009年5月から同年9月までの 4ヶ月をかけてアリューシャン列島からグリーンランドまでの船旅途中で北部カナダのイヌイット族の村で複数の野生動物の肉を食べた。Nunavut州 ビクトリア島でのハイイログマの肉が原因のようである。
