[下記 20101021.3811] その後回復した 2010年 2例目の男性患者は、St. Louis encephalitis セントルイス脳炎[ウイルス SLEV 感染症]であると、保健当局は確定した。
2 weeks ago[week of 18 Oct 2010], health officials determined a man who originally tested positive for West Nile virus actually had St. Louis encephalitis, officials said. That man has since recovered.

2010年10月28日の採集期間で、蚊は見つからなかった (本年の蚊のシーズンは終わったようである)が、住民はまだ注意すべきである (Nueces County Public Health District)。

米国 Texas Department of State Health Services テキサス州保健省は、同州で 2010年 2人目(ただし、同患者の入院は 2009年9月[下記の原文参照])の St. Louis encephalitis セントルイス脳炎ウイルス SLEV 感染患者を発表 ([当初] West Nile virus ウエストナイルウイルス WNV 感染症と考えられていた)。
患者はテキサス州 Nueces County ニュエセス郡(County) [ South Plains, ラボック郡ではない]に住む 60歳代の男性で、回復した。同郡住民では 2人目。

The Nueces County man, in his 60s, was hospitalized in late September [2009] and the state confirmed he had West Nile virus [infection]. That test was a false positive, and state officials later confirmed with a 2nd test that the man had St. Louis encephalitis. The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District won’t release further details about the man because of privacy concerns.

Since testing began on 3 May [2010], 6 pools of mosquitoes have tested positive for St. Louis encephalitis [virus], but West Nile virus has not been found in Nueces County mosquitoes this year [2010].

SLEV セントルイス脳炎ウイルス感染症の検査陽性 74人(1990年以降)。
