Uttar Pradesh ウッタル プラデーシュ [UP]州では、2005年から 3000人を超える小児が日本脳炎 JEで死亡した。… 日本脳炎による最初の大きな被害は 2005年のモンスーンのときであった。予防のために、2006年、vaccination drive ワクチン接種推進活動が始まった、しかし、実際に接種したのは小児のわずか 38%であった。その後の 3年間、小児はだれもワクチン接種しなかった。2010年の今、”報復”となって返ってきた、センター[ワクチン製造販売 ?]はワクチンを同州に急いで届けたが、結局 低品質で全く使いものにならないことが分かった。
次のワクチン接種推進活動は 2010年11月に予定している。

ネパール連邦民主共和国 Far West Region 極西部 Seti Zone セティ県 Kailali カイラリ郡(district) Dhangadi [Dhangadhi]市の Seti Zonal Hospital セティ県立病院で、日本脳炎 JE の治療を受けた患者 1人死亡 [23 Aug 2010]。
この患者の身元判明 (国内最西端 Mahakali マハカリ県 Kanchanpur カンチャンプール郡 Tribhuvanbasti [Tribhuwanbasti] VDC [Village Development Committee (ネパールの最小行政単位) 村落開発委員会])。

現時点で、JE 死亡患者は 計 3人となった。
数週間前、小児 2人(2歳児, 5歳児。ともに カイラリ郡 Pahalmanpur VDC)が同病院で治療を受けたが死亡。カイラリ郡では、さらに 12人を超える患者が JE発症。

日本脳炎 JE [を含むウイルス性脳炎、急性脳炎症候群]による死亡患者数 296人 [14 Sep 2010]。
インド Uttar Pradesh ウッタル プラデーシュ州[東部] Gorakhpur ゴーラクプル県の病院 BRD [Baba Raghav Das] Medical College Hospital では、2010年1月1日から日本脳炎[を含む同疾患]による入院患者 1899人となり、このうち死亡 296人。
入院患者は、[インド東北部で隣接した] Bihar ビハール州 197人、ネパール 9人を含む。
同病院では、まだ 287人に対して治療中。
上記の累積症例数に含まれているが、新規登録の入院患者 15人、同死亡患者 3人 (同州 Kushinagar 県および Deoria 県、ビハール州 各 1人)。

インド Uttar Pradesh ウッタル プラデーシュ州 [Gorakhpur ゴーラクプル県]でさらに脳炎患者 5人が死亡し、同州東部地域の死亡患者は 今年[2010年]計 254人となった (当局発表 [8 Sep 2010])。上記患者 5人は 医科大学病院 BRD [Baba Raghav Das] Medical College Hospital で死亡した ( Kushinagar クシーナガル県 2人、Deoria デーオリヤー県 1人、Sant Kabir Nagar サント カビール ナガル県 1人、Basti バスティー県 1人)
全死亡例 254人のうち、238人は BRD病院で、他の症例は他の公立病院 — 県名 Gorakhpur, Siddharthnagar スィッダールト ナガル県, Kushinagar, Maharajganj マハーラージガンジ県, Basti, and Deoria districts 。
新規患者 30人は BRD病院、 6人は他地域の公立病院に入院した。現在、325人は BRD病院および各公立病院で治療を受けている。

インド Uttar Pradesh ウッタル プラデーシュ州の東部地域 [Gorakhpur ゴーラクプル県など]の日本脳炎 JE [Mod. TY氏解説: 前報までは、多くの患者の原因ウイルスはJE ウイルス以外とされていた]による死者は 本日、新たに 9人が死亡し計 231人となった (当局発表)。 9人は 医科大学病院 BRD [Baba Raghav Das] Medical College Hospital で治療を受けていた (Gorakhpur ゴーラクプル県 4人、Kushinagar クシーナガル県 2人、Sant Kabir Nagar サント カビール ナガル県 1人、Siddharth Nagar スィッダールト ナガル県 1人、Bihar ビハール州 1人 から来院した患者であった)。
2010年9月1日以降、同病院に入院した患者は 26人である。現時点[2 Sep 2010]で 227人が、それぞれの government hospitals 公立病院で治療を受けている。

インド Uttar Pradesh ウッタル プラデーシュ州[東部] Gorakhpur ゴーラクプル県では、さらに 4人が脳炎で死亡し、2010年の死者は 219人となった (保健当局発表 [31 Aug 2010])。4人は、この2日間で医科大学病院 BRD [Baba Raghav Das] Medical College Hospital にて死亡した。
死亡患者の居住地は 同州 Gorakhpur 県, Deoria デーオリヤー県および Kushinagar クシーナガル県、[隣接した東北部] Bihar ビハール州、各 1人。新規脳炎患者 45人が地域の異なる病院に入院している。
本年の死者 219人中 208人は、同大学病院で死亡した。

インド Uttar Pradesh ウッタル プラデーシュ州[東部] Gorakhpur ゴーラクプル県では脳炎により、この 24時間で 3人死亡。(通信員報告) 2010年1月から、acute encephalitis syndrome [AES] 急性脳炎症候群 1300人のうち、90人は日本脳炎 [JE] に対する検査陽性であった。東部の複数県では、211人もの患者が死亡した。

Gorakhpur ゴーラクプル県の医科大学 Gorakhpur Medical College [Hospital 病院]では、毎日平均 2人が脳炎で亡くなっている (同病院の複数看護婦によると)。

In the last 32 years, more than 7000 people have died of encephalitis just at the Gorakhpur Medical College Hospital. But, the centre is still unable to devise a vaccination programme for Japanese encephalitis which has already killed 200 this year.

同州東に隣接するインド Bihar ビハール州、Nepal ネパール連邦民主共和国からの患者も含まれている。ウッタル プラデーシュ州東部 29県、ビハール州やネパールの一部地域は、日本脳炎ウイルスで大きな打撃を受けている。

インド北東部 Assam アッサム州 Nalbari ナルバーリー県 Barkuriha 村の74歳男性は高熱のため 医科大学病院 Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) に入院後、Japanese encephalitis [JE] 日本脳炎 と診断された(死亡)。同県では初めての発生。
同村の住民 他 1人も同病院で治療を受けている。

インド北部 Uttar Pradesh ウッタル・プラデーシュ州の東部では、[26 Jul 2010]までに謎[脳炎の病因・病原体情報はない]のウイルスによる死者 94人, 入院 543人 (州保健局公式日報)。
Control Room in Lucknow [この記事も患者数は同じで]によると、acute encephalitis syndrome (AES) 急性脳炎症候群 小児 543人、他に、死者 94人で、10人は検査で日本脳炎ウイルス陽性であった。同州東部 Gorakhpur district ゴーラクプル県 [ネパールとの国境に近い]でも日本脳炎により小児 1人死亡。
ゴーラクプル県内の実際の死者数は 100人を超えているとの別情報 (Local health activist )もある。
“We are sure about one thing, that it is not Japanese encephalitis virus. Only 11.71 per cent of the samples have tested positive for Japanese encephalitis virus, while the rest are still unknown,” claimed director general (medical & health) Dr RR Bharti.

Uttar Pradesh government has declared an epidemic in most of Uttar Pradesh for Japanese Encephalitis (JE)
As of 21 Aug 2005: 167 deaths
500 cases in total
250 hospitalized
Majority affected 1-13 years of age
Specific areas affected-Gorakhpur, Devaria, Basti, Maharajganj and adjoining areas of Bihar
In Kanpur, 15 suspected cases were diagnosed as suffering from JE. 12 cases underwent CSF examination.
Out of the 12 ( admitted at LLRM Government Hospital), 7 cases were confirmed by CSF to be JE. Out of 7 cases, 3 died. All this is as of 22 Aug 2005.

インド東部 Meghalaya メーガーラヤ州[シロン高原に位置し、南境はバングラデシュ Wikipedia]東部の[行政区分] Ri-Bhoi リ・ボイ および West Khasi Hills 西カシ・ヒルズで、日本脳炎 JE ウイルス感染者 計 2人の報告があった(同州保健当局)。
[ProMED モデレーター解説: 明確ではないが、検査によりウイルスが確認された症例と推察する]
市立病院 2施設で治療を受けている。西カシ・ヒルズの Langja village [村]に医師団を派遣し、渓谷地帯での JE発生について確認している。

ネパール連邦民主共和国 中部 [Janakpur Zone] ジャナクプール県 Mahottari マホッタリ郡 Dhamaura VDC-1 [Village Development Committee (ネパールの最小行政単位) 村落開発委員会] の 5歳男児が日本脳炎 [JE]で死亡した。
東部コシ県スンサリ郡 Dharan 市の[病院] B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences にて特別監視下で 4日間治療を受けたが死亡した。
同じ村の 20歳女性も日本脳炎にかかった。

ネパールでは 日本脳炎の最初の発生は 1978年に報告された。以来、散発的に発生している。Ganga [Ganges ガンジス] 川流域の北部平原地帯であり、おそらく日本脳炎の風土病地域である。[国内 全75郡 district のうち] 24郡は以前、風土病地域と分類された (ProMED archive no. 20060831.2475)。
