ニュージーランドの giardia ランブル鞭毛虫 感染患者数は全国で約 50% (過去 3か月)増加。[北島 南端] Wellington ウェリントン大都市圏で発生懸念。
国内の患者数： 2010年の第1四半期(1月-3月)で、555人。2009年第4四半期(2009年10月-12月) 375人、2009年第1四半期(同期) 470人。
先々週 [2010年6月1日を含む週]、ウェリントン地方で患者 8人 (5月24日から始まる週 1人)。[Wellington 市] Worser Bay 小学校の生徒 1人も感染していた。
ウェリントン市議会への通知: 2010年4月 6人、5月 5人、6月現時点で 6人。
