野生動物の肉の密輸横行 ヨーロッパの1空港・1年当たり推定約 270メートルトン。中部アフリカの 3か国 The Central African Republic 中央アフリカ, Cameroon カメルーン, the Democratic Republic of Congo コンゴ民主共和国が主要な野生動物の肉の提供源と判明する。フランスで、サル 4Kgは約100 ユーロ Euro (USD 124)。押収した肉の 39%はワシントン条約 CITES (the Convention for the Trade in Endangered Species「絶滅のおそれのある野生動植物の種の国際取引に関する条約」) のリスト動物。また、病原体輸入に関する深刻な問題。

Likely there are other airports, in other countries, including the US, Canada, and Australia that may need to perform a similar major airport customs study. The risk of disease entering a country in this fashion presents a huge risk, which all customs officials should be more diligent about.
