西アジア北端 Georgia ジョージア[= グルジア共和国] 南部 Kvemo Kartli クヴェモ カルトゥリ州 Gardabani region ガルダバニ[県 District ?/ Wikipedia によると、首都 トリビシ市の南 39Km] の 54歳男性は、飼育していた畜牛の食肉処理中、炭疽菌に感染した (2010年 22人目 グルジア国CDC発表)。同患者の感染症重症度は中等度 [最下段の通信社 "Rosbalt" 記事によると、死亡]。

毎年の報告感染家畜症例はブタ以外すべての種でみられるが、少数である。
旧ソビエト連邦 [Wikipedia 同国 1991年 独立]時代の典型的な ヒト中心の報告システム (すなわち、ヒト感染症例のない家畜死は恐らく調査しない)であり、感染者数は不釣合いである。

For example the bovine outbreaks [畜牛の発生件数] reported since 1999 (blank), 2000 (3), 2001 (3), 2002 (0), 2003 (0), 2004 (6), 2005 (3), 2006 (3), 2007 (4), 2008 (7), 2009 (10), the human cases [感染患者] reported each year were 1999 (51), 2000 (29), 2001 (26), 2002 (15), 2003 (27), 2004 (45), 2005 (19), 2006 (38), 2007 (42), 2008 (62), 2009 (38).

ヒト感染症例の関連で、早くワクチン接種に対応しないと、疾患は基本的に制御されず、大きな損害をもたらす。

2010年の 22人目の炭疽菌感染者は [ 4-8 Oct 2010 の週]、同感染症で死亡した。患者登録は 1日前。専門家は “epidemic”流行が継続しているのではなく、散発症例と考えている。

ウガンダ共和国 [中央地域 南部] Kalangala カランガラ県 [Lake Victoria ヴィクトリア湖の] Nkibanga 島(island)で hippo カバ 2頭が死んだ。炭疽菌感染症が疑われている。死んだカバの数は 2010年7月から計 14頭(死因が炭疽によるものか、同県の指導者[地域議会議長など]により確定していない)。
最近、Western Uganda ウガンダ西部地域で多くのカバが死んで、同疾患が疑われるている。Uganda Wildlife Authority ウガンダ野生保護局は死因調査中。

フランスの動物炭疽菌感染症
細菌 Bacillus anthracis 検出確認事例

10年間(1999-2009年)の発生 計 74件。[ヨーロッパ本土 95県中] 14県で発生し、年平均 7件。主に畜牛。2007年まで発生少数 (0-6 件/年)で、安定していたが、2008年 19件 (うち Doubs ドゥー県 17 クラスター), 2009年 22件(うち Savoie サヴォワ県 17クラスター)。[感染動物は] 畜牛以外では、2001年 馬 1頭、2009年 複数のヤギ/馬。上記 2県(欧州本土の東端)で比較的多い (その理由は完全に説明されていないが、夏の気候、炭疽に関する地方史が一部関与)。

フランス [炭疽]届出義務化された2002年から、炭疽菌感染者 4人。
2003年、皮膚炭疽 1人 [男性] (enzootic 家畜風土病地域で感染ヒツジの食肉処理中に暴露)。
2008年12月、3人が皮膚炭疽(病変部の皮膚生検、PCR検査にて)診断。全患者は男性で、炭疽感染した畜牛 1頭の内臓摘出と食肉処理に加わった。治療奏功し合併症なし。調査により[他] 11人は感染牛に接触したため感染の可能性高く、抗生薬による予防的治療を受けた。

ロシア連邦 Krasnodar Territory クラスノダール地方の Uspensakya [ProMED-mail前報 = Uspenskaya = Uspenskoye ] ウスペンスカヤ村の 1農場で最近起こった炭疽発生の原因は恐らく、元の動物埋却場所から運ばれた土 (特に、[炭疽菌]汚染した家畜の墓地から同農場の放牧地を覆うために土が運搬されたと推定) であった( Rosselkhoznadzor [Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance ロシア連邦動植物衛生監督局]報告)。

ウスペンスカヤ村の農場
2010年9月10日-27日 (この日以降、新しい症例はない)
乳牛 154頭、子牛 60頭が感染し、9月20日 乳牛 19頭を処分。他の 3頭は死んだ。現在、5人が地域病院で入院中。この 5人は感染農場の従業員。

In the Soviet days, all cattle graves were routinely checked at frequent intervals for some 5-7+ years. It was this sampling that revealed that over time, the recovered organisms (spores) would not uncommonly be losing plasmids to eventually become apathogenic.

ロシア連邦 Krasnodar Territory クラスノダール地方
炭疽菌感染症疑いで入院した 5人中 2人は診断 “anthrax 炭疽” 確定。他の 3人は依然として疑いが持たれている(2010年9月28日、特定される予定)。患者は隔離されている; 容態はよく; 病気による新しい所見は見られていない。
[他の] 32人は quarantine under permanent medical supervision [医師を常駐させた? 継続的 ?]な医学的管理下で隔離・検疫されている。
炭疽菌 casualties 感染者は 農場の従業員および接触のあった人々。

Stanitsa of Uspenskaya ウスペンスカヤ村 [ProMED初回記事 = Uspenskoye ] の中の複数の酪農場の 1つで見つかった。
感染農場は閉鎖; 19頭の乳牛は殺処分となり、死骸は埋却された。同農場は隔離・検疫されている。

32人が medical quarantine under medical supervision「医学的な管理下の隔離・検疫」対象となっているとは、炭疽は非伝染性疾患なので、医師による監視を受けているという意味と思う。

ロシア連邦 南部連邦管区 Krasnodar クラスノダール地方 Uspenskoye 村の酪農場 1施設で、炭疽菌感染が確認された (南部連邦管区非常災害対策センター発表 [24 Sep 2010])。20頭もの乳牛がすでに処分され、死骸は埋められた。病気の拡大予防策が行われている。炭疽感染疑い患者 2人が入院している。30人以上の農場従業員の健康状態を監視している。

英国の炭疽菌汚染ヘロインによる死者 16人 (スコットランド 13人、イングランド 3人)
感染患者数
スコットランドでは 2009年12月から 47人。
イングランドでは 2010年2月から [人数の記載なし]。
感染ルートと症状は、既存の3型(*)とは異なる injectional anthrax 注射[注入]炭疽。

(*) cutaneous (skin) 皮膚炭疽, gastrointestinal 胃腸炭疽, inhalational 吸入/肺炭疽 anthrax.
「英国ではヘロイン使用者に慢性的に炭疽菌汚染したドラッグが供給される endemic “風土病” となっている。」
最新のヘロイン汚染説： ヘロイン供給網に沿ったある1点で炭疽菌[芽胞]に汚染したヤギの皮に入れて輸送されているのではないか。
スコットランドの炭疽感染患者 15人は 治験薬 1剤で治療された: 米国 CDC 疾病対策予防センターから取り付けた anthrax immunoglobulin [抗]炭疽菌免疫グロブリン製剤。以前は 3人のみの治療例であったが、有効性についての試験が進行中である。
