中華人民共和国 Henan 河南(かなん)省 [保健]衛生当局は、まだ明らかになっていないが、一連のマダニ刺咬症により 18人が感染死したと、昨夜 [8 Sep 2010]発表した。

他の死亡患者 3人は、同国 Shandong 山東(さんとう)省 煙台(えんたい)市[の行政区画である] Penglai City 蓬莱(ほうらい)市 [県級市]で報告された。

河南省 南東部 Xinyang 信陽(しんよう)市で 2007年5月、human granulocytic anaplasmosis [HGA] ヒト顆粒球アナプラズマ症 の第 1例目が報告されてから、同疾患の疑い患者は 557人で、[今回の] 18人の死亡例も含まれている。

多くの患者は 信陽市[の行政区画である] Shangcheng 商城(しょうじょう)県、Guangshan 光山(こうざん)県 (counties)、Shihe 溮河(しか)区、Pingqiao 平橋(へいきょう)区 (districts)で見られている (河南省衛生部 provincial Public Health Department 発表)。
症例の大半が 5月から 8月に報告され、多くの患者は 40歳-70歳である (当局)。主に、衛生状態が問題である農村部で報告された。

都市部の ペット[用家畜]は飼い主が一定間隔できれいにするので、マダニを保有することはまれである (広東省 Guangzhou 広州を本拠地とする Sun Yat-sen 中山大学 寄生虫学の専門家 Yu Xinbing 氏発言引用)。

HGA reduces white blood cell and platelet counts in the blood, leading to organ failure and death.
[Mod. ML氏解説: The case fatality rate in HGA is quite low. Most patients with HGA recover uneventfully. However, HGA can be severe and even life threatening if untreated or initiation of antibiotic therapy is delayed in elderly and in immunocompromised patients.

すぐに治療すれば、治る。
The disease is curable if treated soon enough.
河南省 Shangcheng 信陽市の患者の多くは、初発症状は発熱であり、地元農村の医師は誤診しやすい。

中華人民共和国 Henan 河南(かなん)省 [Wikipedia 人口約 1億]で、 ダニ媒介性疾患によると考えられる病気で 18人が死亡した (同省衛生部発表)。
現時点で患者 557人が報告され、多くは同省 南東部 Xinyang 信陽(しんよう)市 Shangcheng 商城(しょうじょう)県 [同市の行政区画にある県の 1つ]で発生している。
ダニ媒介疾患が主に夏に発生し、相次いで死亡した患者の死因となったと考えている。発病患者の多くは 中高年者である (同省当局)。
中国では、ダニ媒介疾患[の発生]は、その大部分が 河南省、Guangdong 広東(かんとん)省、Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region 広西チワン族自治区の農村部に限定されている。

マダニが媒介する、リケッチア様の[顆粒球に特異的に感染する偏性寄生性の]グラム陰性桿菌 Anaplasma phagocytophilum アナプラズマ・ファゴサイトフイルム による人獣共通感染症

[2001年、病原体の学名 Ehrlichia phagocytophila は Anaplasma phagocytophilum へ、本病原体による病名も human granulocytic ehrlichiosis から human granulocytic anaplasmosis へ変更された。]

患者の多くにみられる症状は、頭痛、発熱、悪寒、筋肉痛で、他のありふれた感染症と区別がつかない。これら症状は高齢者や免疫機能の低下した人々では最も重症となる傾向がある。一部の人は A. phagocytophilum に感染しても発病しないか、ごく軽度の症状のみで、医療機関を受診しない。

しかし、2件目の投稿から、中国 河南省 Henan の死亡例の診断に関して不確実なことは明白である。
