フィリピン[北部ルソン島] Bicol ビコル地方保健局は Camarines Norte 北カマリネス州のマラリア流行を宣言した (患者数 182人に達した後)。大多数は Jose Panganiban 町。また同町では、患者の大半は小児と高齢者で、少なくとも 20%は部族のコミュニティであった。
Incidentally, the DOH and the World Health Organization (WHO) have already declared as malaria-free some of the region’s provinces — these are: Albay アルバイ州, Sorsogon ソルソゴン州, Catanduanes カタンドゥアネス州, and Masbate マスバテ州.
因みに、ビコール地方の[上記英文中の] 4州はマラリア フリー地域であると、すでに地方保健局とWHOが宣言した。同地方内の他の 2州は、北カマリネス、Camarines Sur 南カマリネスであるが、南カマリネス州は追加の評価と検証が行われている。
