[オーストラリア New South Wales ニューサウスウェールズ州では] 2010年は湿度の高い気候のため、行政区域 ムーライ Riverina Murray 地域の ロスリバー Ross River ウイルス感染症は 4倍増加した。過去の数百人には達していない (地域保健部長(region’s public health unit director) Tracey Oakman 氏)。
Riverina [Murray]地域では 96人で昨年 2009年の同時期 23人とは対照的である。雨が降った時、蚊が大量に発生した。Barmah Forest ウイルス感染[患者]には変化はなく、2009年 3人、2010年 2人。今、涼しい気温となり蚊の活動は低下している。
